How to Create Space in Your iPhone?

Have you got a notification from your iPhone regarding your iCloud storage space? Have you got panicked seeing the message and thinking what should you do now? I am here to help you. I have brought you some easy ways to spring-clean your phone.

Uninstall unnecessary apps

You might have several unnecessary apps in your iPhone. Identify such apps and delete them. There may be some apps that you need but once in a month or a couple of months, you can delete such apps as well. As downloading an app is not a big deal, so when you need them you can download and uninstall after the use. This way, you will create much space in your phone.

Turn off Photo Stream

If you have turned on photo stream, turn off this right away. To do this, go to settings and then Photos & Camera and then deselect My Photo Stream. Why do you need to do this? Despite not being of the full resolution, images take too much space of your phone. Once the storage issue will resolve, you can turn this on again.

Don’t Keep the normal photos if using HDR camera

If you have been using HDR camera and normal camera both, and have both types of photos in your phone, then deselect the Keep Normal Photo option and delete the normal photos from your phone.

Delete Unnecessary Messages

Check unnecessary messages, especially image based messages in your iPhone and then delete them all. If you want to delete all old messages since you have nothing worth keeping then follow these steps – Settings > Messages > Message History > Keep Messages, select a date range, then tap Delete. This way, you will create some space in your phone.

Wipe the Other Section-

The ‘Other’ section of your iOS usually has text attachments, calendar entries, etc.  Go to Settings then General then Reset then Erase all content and then settings to erase your iPhone and wipe the ‘Other’ section.

With these simple ways, you can create much space on your iPhone. If you want to know more such ways or how to do this ideally, reach a phone repair specialist and he would let you know more tips and help you do this as well.
